Job Summary

Brood bar and cafe at Roco serves up delicious food in the day and turns into a bar and event space in the evenings. We have a flexible space with outside courtyards and Sheffield's largest roof terrace which bursts into life as soon as the sun comes out.

We are looking for an outgoing assistant manager to join the team who is capable of driving growth and comfortable leading with initiative. You will be hands-on on the floor and will get a genuine buzz out of ensuring our customers have a great time with us from the minute they walk through the door and you will instinctively develop a rapport with our regulars.

You must have high quality bar supervisory or management experience, excellent craft beer and cocktail knowledge, a love for great tasting food and good experience of the food side of an F&B business.

Responsibilities

  • Driving sales and business growth specifically across evening and night time trade
  • Budget and stock management
  • Work with management to develop new lines and products
  • Support and lead the team, manage team meetings, build skills and confidence
  • Work with events team to translate exciting ideas into high quality events
  • Maintain high standards across the board

Experience and hours

At least 2 years at this level. License holder a plus. Driving license desirable but not essential. This is a full time role with evening and weekend work. We are open Monday - Saturday.

We are looking for multi talent assistant manager to join our team. You will have a strong commercial mindset with experience in specialist retail, your passion for design and independent makers will shine through and you will be excited about sourcing new and exceptional designers and developing personal relationships with all of our current suppliers. There are so many interesting and positive stories to share about the products we sell and you will be well versed in delivering online marketing and managing social media to build our community.

Job Summary

We are looking for chefs at all levels with a creative flair who can deliver quality food throughout regular service and high volume for events and parties. Applicants must have a real passion for food and the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Make cakes and bread from scratch

  • Work with team to create daily and weekly specials

  • Delivery tasty fresh food from seasonal ingredients

  • Assist with ordering, stock management and paperwork

  • Cleaning and maintaining standards of hygiene
