Doodle Club is back! After our summer break we will be pulling out the pens to get busy with our monthly doodle based social. Your host illustrator George Law will be you bringing you the usual mix of doodle based wisdom along with added bonus features - new doodle task sheets and expert friends dropping in to talk all things drawing and illustration.

Doodle Club summer edition is here! Your super host George Law is back from his illustrated travels having been working at Disney Studios no less! Come and join us for an evening of doodling and drinking We believe that drawing and doodling are great ways to unwind and even formulate new ideas and conversations. You you don't need to be an artist to come to doodle club, everyone is welcomed!

Learn the design and practical skills to hand roll and create pattern and form in the clay to develop into a wearable piece to take home in this 2.5 hour workshop. Fison Zair Studio is the creation of Sheffield based designer Katy Aston.

WORKSHOP! Back by popular demand! If you've never used a drill, this workshop will introduce you to the basic functions of a drill. You'll learn to make a pilot hole and how to choose the right screw for the job. You'll take home a handcrafted ottoman with hidden storage.

The night will feature 2 x Roco and 2 x Guild talented members in short but sweet 10 min bursts talking about what they make and how and why they make it. All interspersed with drinks, snacks and an opportunity to get to know each other and the wider creative community in the city.

Robert Muir-Wood, Chief Research Officer at Risk Management Solutions, discusses how so-called ‘natural’ disasters are increasingly the consequence of what and where we build, and how we choose to ignore the warning signs. Throughout history people have attempted to thwart disasters, often with disastrous consequences. Now at last we understand how to motivate builders and political leaders to make our cities resilient.

Creative business legal workshop. This two hour practical workshop for creative businesses will explain the key changes being brought about to data protection and privacy law as a result of the GDPR and how you can, and give you some of the key tools to, produce those documents and demonstrate compliance.
